There are many opportunities and benefits to becoming actively involved in the design and delivery of our services. For you, it can build confidence and the opportunity to ‘have your say’. For others, seeing people who have struggled with alcohol and drug use living a better life and being actively involved in the service can motivate them to seek and engage with help.Ambition Portsmouth
Contact our Partners Intuitive Recovery who are a thriving recovery community in Portsmouth. They provide an 6-week course to prepare service users who want to be involved in delivering services.

Have Your Say
Contact Richard who is SSJ’s Service User Involvement Co-ordinator and facilitates monthly focus groups for Portsmouth Recovery Housing Residents which provide an open forum for you to discuss what is going well in the services you access and what could be improved upon. There will also be drop-in sessions set up for Service Users who are living in the community.
Richard is facilitating the growth and capacity of an SSJ resident panel who will develop their own agenda with the overarching purpose of improving services that they receive from SSJ.
